Checking out the new E-TAC and Evolution from @pseriflestocks and they are slick! The Evolution comes in at 24.5 ounces, to my knowledge the lightest fully adjustable stock on the market. The E-TAC is just barely above that, and will be a major contender for @nrlhunter rigs in the future. These two will be in the shop so swing by if you want to see them in person. A little 16” @proofresearch barreled 6ARC build is a nice perch for the new @sigsauerhunting Echo Thermal optic. Took it for a spin last night and it’s an impressive unit with very intuitive controls. Nice to be able to fit it in conventional mounts and use it on multiple platforms with ease too. No coyotes were harmed, but many jackrabbits were put under surveillance.

New shop record group at 1015 yards on @crcrange and this one will probably stand for a while. 1.068” for a three shot group of 168gr @bergerbullets VLD’s is going to be tough to beat! And no surprise, it came from a @custom_rifle_barrels M24 contour blank chambered in the one and only 7mm SAW. The boys from Oklahoma are turning out some of the best barrel blanks money can buy.

With the @hornadymfg 95gr ELD-VT out in the wild now, we couldn’t help but load some up in the 25 SAW and see what it could do. This is the extent of the development time we had before SHOT show, and there are lots of other powders to test as well as tuning for seat depth, etc. before calling it a built load. But, the initial pressure exploration with H4350 looks good with all shots from 3111FPS up to 3380FPS comfortably staying sub MOA. Three shot group at 45.4grs landed just over .5” with MV of 3302FPS/1.9SD. We are seeking coyotes for live tissue testing.

Hot and fresh #6creedmoor build on its way home! Loaded with 100gr @sierra_bullets Tipped GameKings, it’s hard to beat a build like this for a superbly accurate small to medium game rifle. And with a custom engraved calibrated elevation turret from @kentonindustries installed, precision gets even faster.

Data gathering continues on the 22 SAW, with the 62gr ELD-VT’s showing major potential. The initial run of headstamped brass was built in a basic configuration with the same 7mm neck as the parent case, and we’ve worked out an efficient process to work the final neck down pr-shipment, which means all 22 SAW brass will now come load ready out of the box! We are seeing great speed and accuracy with H4350, N550, N560, and several others. Still have a little way to go on compiling data, but a safe bet for this little guy is a solid 75-100FPS bump in velocity over 22 Creedmoor assuming the same bullet and barrel length. And yes, we know that 3380FPS with a 62gr is not fast. This group was shot with a starting charge for the bullet while we were firing some brass to make modified cases🐢🐢🐢
