Data gathering continues on the 22 SAW, with the 62gr ELD-VT’s showing major potential. The initial run of headstamped brass was built in a basic configuration with the same 7mm neck as the parent case, and we’ve worked out an efficient process to work the final neck down pr-shipment, which means all 22 SAW brass will now come load ready out of the box! We are seeing great speed and accuracy with H4350, N550, N560, and several others. Still have a little way to go on compiling data, but a safe bet for this little guy is a solid 75-100FPS bump in velocity over 22 Creedmoor assuming the same bullet and barrel length. And yes, we know that 3380FPS with a 62gr is not fast. This group was shot with a starting charge for the bullet while we were firing some brass to make modified cases🐢🐢🐢

Pretty cool new can design coming out of @precisionarmament and on the shelf just in time for January 1! This is the TiTrex, a 3D printed titanium unit that comes in just under 9 ounces and is Hub compatible. Something truly unique about it is the ability to replace the core should the need arise. We’ve been testing this one on 7mm SAW and 22 Creedmoor, and it is impressive. The shop consensus is that sound level is on par with a Nomad Ti XC, and a touch quieter than a Raptor 6 with full reflex. The gas flow is good too; take a look at the brass coming out of a 20” 22 Creed Gasser build we just finished. This factory @hornadymfg Match 80 ELD-M, left piece is unsuppressed while the right is with the TiTrex installed. These units come with a 5/8-24 Hub, a flat endcap, and a brake front cap for some additional help with recoil. Looks like it’s going to be great option across many platforms!

That 100gr ELD-VT is screaming out of a 20” @benchmarkbarrels carbon Sendero Lite at 3331FPS, and makes the PRC a completely different animal from what it’s usually known for. even in one of our ultralight Black Gap builds (sub 8lb with suppressor) recall is mild and extremely pleasant to shoot. Can’t wait to do some fur testing with these dudes👊
