The 22 SAW has been a quiet R&D project for the last 18 months, and we’re happy to be able to release some test data for all those that are curious about this little hot rod. Load Data Warning
The load data compiled below was developed and tested in specific rifle/barrel combinations, and is listed here as an educational reference only. NEVER TAKE MAX LOADS OFF THE INTERNET AND RUN THEM IN YOUR GUN! ALWAYS START LOW AND WORK UP FOR YOUR SPECIFIC RIFLE.
All loads listed were tested in our WTO 22 SAW brass, proudly produced for us by Alpha Munitions. Unless otherwise noted, all loads were tested using a CCI 450 Primer, and bullets seated using the Redding Custom 22 SAW standard bullet seating die. Velocity numbers were recorded using a Garmin Xero Chronograph.
